Xiaojun Yin

Chairman & CEO of HYDE / Manufacturing Partner

As a mechanical and thermal energy engineer, I have specialized in the research, development, design, and manufacturing of drying equipment since 1995. In 2018, I expanded into designing and manufacturing continuous pyrolysis systems for biochar production. Drawing on my extensive thermal energy expertise and mechanical manufacturing experience, I developed an innovative approach that transforms standalone pyrolysis equipment into integrated multifunctional systems that maximize utilization of all pyrolysis outputs—both biochar and thermal energy. These comprehensive systems encompass biomass drying, biochar production, cooling and humidification, biochar-based fertilizer manufacturing, and thermal energy recovery and reuse. Each system can be flexibly configured to meet specific customer requirements.

Our commitment

We made commitment to the biochar business in late 2017. It has been fairly a long journey that has been incredibly challenging, learning curve has been especially steep. The poem on the right-hand side truly reflects our journey. We are however getting closer everyday to where we strive to achieve.

We aim to pioneer the development of biochar production technology and systems, as well as value-added biochar-based products.

Our uniquely developed in depth experience, insights and skills over the past years can certainly be valuable and useful for the biochar industry which is still in its infancy stage.

  • Biochar production technologies and equipment: from front-end material (feedstorck) handling and drying, to pyrolysis operation (critical knowledge and skills), to back-end biochar discharge, cooling and storage, to biochar-based products production, etc. We are willing to provide advice and assistance on various level of the technology that can perform the task to meet customers’ specific requirements that often relate to the feedstock that they deal with.
  • Biochar-based products: over the past years we produced quite extensively various type of the biochar / CCM based products which are differently formulated and require different processes, for R&D projects purpose, as well as for meeting our customers’ specific requiremets, we have in depth knowledge in the product formulation, production processes, and to finish the product to meet end-users’ needs.

We look forward to speaking to people whom we can assist. Please find our contact details in the Contact page.
